Coach Mason has struck gold on the recruiting trail once again. Vanderbilt landed it’s 6th recruit of the 2021 class in 3-Star ATH Ezra McAllister.
McAllister attended Marshall High School in Marshall, Michigan. He is currently rated 1,556th nationally, 105th at his position, and 54th in Michigan per 247 Sports. He is a versatile and athletic player considering he’s seen action at WR, RB, S, and even on the return teams with the Redhawks.
This is a decent get for Coach Mason and his staff as he receives a talented player who is versatile on both sides of the ball. The Michigan native will likely play a vital role on special teams for the Commodores.
At 6’0 170 lbs., McAllister has the ability to become a speedy WR/RB in the SEC and will be tough to bring down at full speed. McAllister adds to an already deep group at the skill positions on offense as Coach Mason has done a great job in adding quality depth at those positions.
McAllister wasn’t the only 2021 Vanderbilt prospect expected to commit today. 3-Star CB Alan “Taco” Wright out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia was expected to announce this afternoon until earlier this morning he tweeted regarding his commitment date.
The Dore Report will keep you posted on the timetable of his commitment.
Meanwhile, we celebrate the newest 2021 Vanderbilt commit, 3-Star ATH Ezra McAllister. Commodore Nation can’t wait to see him representing Vanderbilt while wearing the black and gold.
