4-Star PG Peyton Daniels Commits to Vanderbilt

BOOM! Coach Stackhouse and company strike BIG once again on the recruiting trail. Moments ago 4-Star Point Guard Peyton Daniels announced he will he taking his talents to West End and will be wearing the black and gold!

The Atlanta, Georgia native attends Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) Daniels, interestingly enough, played on Coach Stackhouse’s AAU squad a few years back. This likely played a big role in process of getting Peyton to come play at Vanderbilt. Daniels is the first player to announce his commitment to the Commodores  for the 2021 class. This a very good one to build on for sure for the Commodore staff. Daniels has a 0.9522 Star rating and ranks 109 Nationally, 17 by Position, and 8 in the state of Georgia. This is a very impressive get for the Vanderbilt program as Daniels was receiving heavy interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Alabama, and more. Daniels will join now a very deep PG rotation of Scottie Pippen Jr. , Issac McBride, and potentially Tyrin Lawrence who is listed as a Combo Guard.

Commodore fans don’t relax to long because there’s another 2021 prospect expected to announce his decision tomorrow morning. PG Jason Nelson has Vanderbilt in his top 2 and will make a decision tomorrow morning around 12 at John Marshall High School.  Let’s now Congratulate this huge get for Coach Stackhouse and staff to West End as Peyton Daniels will be wearing the black and gold!
