The Vanderbilt Football program is set to resume all activities starting this morning, according to a source close to the program. After Coach Mason’s squad canceled last Thursday’s practice due to multiple positive COVID-19 tests, the Commodores ultimately canceled Friday’s practice and also paused all activities until a further date. It could have been much worse for Vanderbilt as there has not been a significant spread across the team at least as of now.
One thing is for sure, and that is the players, coaches, and staff are supplied by one of the best medical staffs in the entire country and that’s shown itself this past week. The Commodores end up only losing a weeks worth of practice reps. Still plenty of time for the team to get back to work in time for the season opener, which is set for September 26th At Kyle Field vs Texas A&M.
Only 30 days until kickoff for Coach Mason and company!
