On Sunday, versatile Ensworth power forward Malik Dia decided to stay home by announcing his commitment to Vanderbilt on Twitter. Dia is listed at 6’7” and 190 lbs. The three star prospect is ranked #266 nationally, the #54 power forward, and #7 prospect in Tennessee according to 247. He chose Vanderbilt over Marquette, Georgia, Western Kentucky, Loyola Chicago, and Murray State.
Dia is the third commitment of Vandy’s 2022 class, joining Center Lee Dort and point guard Noah Shelby. The class is currently ranked #11 nationally and #2 in the SEC according to 247.
