Scholl’s 6 Pack: Ole Miss

๐Ÿบ Get All 3 Running Backs Going

Ray Davis has been a bright spot in the offense week in and week out, but he can’t carry the load alone. Expect to see more involvement from Rocko Griffin and Patrick Smith, with Ray Davis still leading the way in touches.

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Absolutely in line with what Will said in the Ole Miss preview Pod – Break but Don’t Bend

We cant afford to tire our guys out trying to limit big plays from Ole Miss and allowing their offense to run extra plays. Play aggressive in coverage and pass rush. send the heat. accept that we will give up some explosive plays, but DO NOT be conservative on defense.

Time to act like a pack of hyenas.

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Designed Shots Down the Field.

Swann has proven he has the arm talent. We are the healthiest we have been all season at the WR position and across the board. We have to attack the middle of the field and draw the safeties up with guys like Jayden McGowan, Gavin Schoenwald, and Quincy Skinner Jr. This is the key to setting up those long Shepherd plays. Draw the safeties up and create one on ones deep with Will Sheppard.

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Turnover Battle

If we play more aggressive (or just less conservative) on defense the turnovers will come; especially with guys like Jaylen Mahoney back in the lineup.

I also trust AJ Swann to take care of the ball, even as a True Freshman. What I am looking at is fumbles and muffed punts. If we limit those, I expect us to be able to win the turnover battle and give ourselves a chance to be competitive.

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Special Packages

A lot may disagree with this, but we -NEED TO SCORE POINTS- and lots of them if we want to keep up with the Lane Train. I would like to see some mike wright packages in the red zone, specifically inside the Ole Miss 10. Even just the RPO to keep the defense on their toes.

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Explosive Returns

Shep promised Dez Bryant on twitter to take a return to the house. Why not today?
